Basically, digital dentures are prosthetics that are made with the help of CAD/CAM technology. The exact process can vary between practices and between dental labs, but the main principles always remain the same. After we take an impression of your teeth, it is uploaded into a special software program, which is then used to fine-tune the design of your dentures. Thereafter, a 3D printer can craft the prosthetic out of resin. This process is often faster and more precise overall than what you would expect with old-fashioned denture creation methods.
