What Is PerioProtect?
PerioProtect consists of two parts—a set of clear mouth trays and prescription medicine. A patient fills the trays with the medicine and wears them at home for a limited time each day, and this allows the medicine to reach the deep parts of the gum pockets where gum disease bacteria reside. It’s able to go much further than a toothbrush, floss, and even our professional instruments, using a non-invasive method that removes the root cause of the infection.
